Could not have asked for a better sequel - (5/5)
Kingdom Hearts is a game that simply should not have worked. And yet it did, and it did so beautifully. Back in 2002, almost everyone was shocked at just how well the blending of Disney and Final Fantasy came off. And when Kingdom Hearts ended, we all wanted more. Four years later, we finally got it and believe me, Kingdom Hearts II does not and will not disappoint.
It's got everything that made the first game wonderful - the characters, the locations, the music and the story that is deeper than it first seems. On top of that, this sequel's battle system is so insanely improved that going back to playing the original will seem very odd indeed and you'll be craving the sense of speed the new game creates.
The new worlds and characters are fantastic too. Somehow they crammed in more Final Fantasy and Disney characters (and I won't say who because some of the surprises I had were wicked), so good luck keeping track of all the cameo appearences!
The voice acting, on the most part, is as great as it was before. There is one voice that really sucks (that'd be Aerith) but everyone else is wicked. Sora's aged voice fits him perfectly, and yes Haley Joel Osment is still voicing him. Sora sounds a lot different but you'll get used to it!
It's hard to cram everything that's great about this game into one review but rest assured: if you liked or loved the original, you won't be disappointed by this amazing game.

Simply amazing. - (5/5)
The game is a sequel to KH and KHCoM, taking place a year after KH. If you've played either and enjoyed then the sequel is a must.
Square enix have improved on everything, the difference in graphics is amazing, the battle system is much quicker, including reaction commands, which if timed correctly bring about whole new opportunities in defeating enemies as well as good fighting cutscenes in the midst of a battle. The gummi ship is far better this time around and not just an inconvenience to get to the next world, this time around it's actually fun. Summons are back with new characters and then there's the drive command, an opportunity to fight with not one but two keyblades - literally whirl around the area and destroy enemies at the same time.
The voice cast, with some slight differences, is still just as good. Which brings me on to new characters, at least double that of KH and each bringing their own story to the game.
Prepare to be amazed at the story, which has quite a few twists near the end, and don't expect it all to be happy just because Disney is involved. Overall an amazing game that any FF/Disney or RPG fan must play - and watch out for the secret ending (so long as certain requirements are met) at the end. Strongly hinted KH3!

Who's with me?! - (5/5)
Now, i think that without a doubt, this game is going to be possibly the best rpg available ever on the ps2. But for the love of god, how long does it take to convert a game from ntsc to pal format?! Since KH2 was released in the usa, i have completed kh1 twice 100%, and we all know that it is not the simplest of games
So on behalf of all KH fans i say to buena vista games....

this game is great.
the new skills and new areas, great idea they have added. Some of it seems a tad easier than i was expecting, but to see the new worlds which i wont spoil for you, and the new gummi ship mode....well... :D
and the way you can weild two (yes two) keyblades at once is a great addition to this.
so all of you buy this game (or pre order) or get it imported from US

This is SO unfair!!! - (1/5)
The release date on Amazon say May 26th and i was overjoyed that it was nearly out, BUT after looking through various sites and talking to people i found out it isn't due out till October!!! This is just ridiculous as the PS3 may very well be out by this time, surely it shouldn't take this long to translate and ship it at least to the UK as it doesn't even need translating.
