This game is a marked improvement on EyeToy 2 for me. Whereas I found 2 to be a rehashed, repeated version of EyeToy 1, 3 takes a significant step forward.

However this isn't without it's flaws... the main one for me being the multiplayer option. Ensure that you are playing in a wide room, because you need the space, especially when playing with 4 people. That said, we struggled with 4 adults despite having a large 'playing area'. The reason being is that the screen divides into 4 vertical sections, and these are a little too narrow for 4 adults to fit into the camera angle (in my opinion). Solo and dual play is fine and works well.

Other than that, the new games are fantastic and nicely randomised, so you won't always play the same game over and over. My personal favourites are the athletics-themed games, which really require some work to succeed!

All in all a new direction on a firm favourite, and highly recommended if you enjoyed the earlier Eye Toy games.

I think this game is out of this world!! I mean the way it works and everything. There are hundreds of games to pick, yuo can even have a tournament with friends. An excellent buy!

When we finally let our kids buy themselves a Playstation we were worried that they would spend most of the time on it moving only their thumbs. And that's certainly true of the other games they bought. But the EyeToy games are really physical - great fun for all ages and we all love the silly snapshots taken randomly while we play on the games. The only thing is that it is really hard to work out which movements actually bring about the desired result - which only makes our boys move harder and faster. Really good fun, we can all play together, and we get lots of exercise - all in front of the TV!

WIKED! I bought this for my 5 year old brother for X-mas, and the whole family loved it. It is for 1-4 players, however if you play with four of you, it can get a bit squashed... the only drawback is that some of the great games from the first Eye-Toy isn't there

Not a patch on Eye Toy 2, so if you are thinking about whether to get 1,2 or 3, dont get 3! I have 2, its great fun, havent got 1 so cant comment on that.

Problem is, there seem to be less games compared to 2, the games are less inventive and so much harder to play that it seems to be random who wins. Crucially, its also very difficult to actually choose which one to play, you select from among 4 or 5 general categories and then seem to get them at random so if there is one you want to avoid, or play, tough luck! Maybe there is a way of choosing but I cant find it.

Get 1 or 2, but not this. If you have 2 and are looking for variety, I'd say spend your money on something else, there are other Eye Toy games out there.
