really like this game.
Whilst the physics and handling are no where near forza 2 it still holds it's own against most other racers out there. However the graphics are the games best attribute with detailing and environmental textures looking all most realistic (the sun's refelction on the car in the hill climb events has to be seen to be believed!!). Overall a must buy. nopt just for rally fans, but for all 360 owners (and eventually PS3 owners if the graphics hold up). Only drawback is the online aspect, but it's not too bad.

I played them demo and fantastic! The graphics look like a PS3 Game! I dont like standard racing games e.g forza sport but this one is great. The steering is slightly uneasy but its only a demo. I also like the title DiRT. It really does explain the game. I am going out to get it on saturday. I have never bought a game the day after the release date! I might even trade in COD3 for it!

First downloaded the demo on Xbox Live and I could not wait for it to download. In the past ive not been that keen on Colin McRae racing games. First impressions are exellent ive tried it on A HD Tv and a normal one. On both the pictures are crisp esspicaly on the HD Tv. Gameplay and hadling are great and you can choose from a wide range of camera views to suit your driving style. Not as realistic as Forza Motorspot 2, but one of the best off road racing games i have ever played on. Its A Must get when it comes out

I played this game first with a free DVD with the game on it. My first impression was superb, the graphics are outstaning on a HD tv, and also on a normal widescreen tv. The handling isn't as good and as complex as Forza 2, but the overall game is fun.
I gave it 4 stars for overall as the handling isn't great as it is stil;l a fun arcade rally game. Even playing just the demo, you get to race three different cars on three types of event, and all of the were superb.
Definatley worth a look, order or buy it now!

Ok enough of the reviews from magazines who havent or dont seem to have a clue on gameplay anymore and their eyesight is going 2...Colin mcrae Dirt is way better than Forza 2 in terms of graphics,sound,gameplay and FUN...and if you havent played the demos then no the steering isnt bad on this game they make out to be at all, in fact its first class and on the other hand its not that brilliant as they make out to be on Forza 2....Overall scores in magazines and websites you may see in days and weeks to come may not justify this game against forza 2 enough, its outrageous....so well just reverse them....put colin in the 9's and 10 area and forza in the 7's and 8...and have fun!!
